N H V V Petition to ban animal experiments on Primates in Europe
“Do you want to sign our petition to ban primate experiments in Europe?
“…no I’m too busy…”
That was the ridiculous response Ross & Steve were given a few weeks ago when they ran a campaign to get a petition signed by ‘the public’ in Letchworth. Quite a few people said that, along with other feeble excuses like “I’ll sign it on the way back”, and “no thanks”!
Despite this pathetic attitude from the nation of animal lovers, 2 ½ pages of signatures were collected on behalf of Animal Aid’s campaign to get experiments on primates banned.
Some other useful comments…
“I’ll sign your petition; I hate cruelty to animals…”
“So are you a vegetarian?”
“No… I like my meat! “
And…
“Vegetarian? No I couldn’t live on vegetables!”
